The Project Brief

 

Ocean Health, recognised as Singapore's No. 1 Omega-3 brand, approached us with a vision: to introduce their new Sustainable Algae Omega-3 supplement in a way that underscores their leadership in the market while highlighting the product's unique selling points. This innovative supplement, derived from microalgae, caters to the growing demand for vegan and eco-friendly health products. Our objective was to create a key visual that not only announces the addition of this product to their Omega-3 portfolio but also reinforces Ocean Health’s commitment to sustainability and innovation.

 

Our Strategy

 

To achieve this, we focused on four primary communication objectives. First, we aimed to raise awareness about the Sustainable Algae Omega-3 as a new addition to Ocean Health's Omega-3 range, emphasising its vegan and sustainable attributes. This involved clearly presenting the product’s benefits to health-conscious consumers who prioritise quality supplements. Second, our goal was to reinforce Ocean Health's leadership position in the market, solidifying their status as the leading Omega-3 brand in Singapore. Third, we sought to appeal directly to vegans or consumers who are looking at alternative sources of Omega-3, providing them with a reliable, plant-based source of Omega-3. Lastly, we aimed to address eco-conscious consumers by highlighting the sustainable sourcing of the product, and addressing concerns about the environmental impact of traditional fish-based Omega-3 supplements.

 

The target audience for this campaign was carefully considered to ensure the message resonated with those most likely to benefit from the product. We focused on adults aged 30 and above, a demographic that often seeks high-quality supplements to support their health. Additionally, we aimed to reach health-conscious vegans who are always on the lookout for effective plant-based alternatives. Finally, we targeted eco-conscious individuals who are mindful of the environmental impact of their health products, particularly those concerned about the sustainability of their Omega-3 sources.

 

Crafting The Key Visual

Our creative direction aimed to position Sustainable Algae Omega-3 as the latest innovation within Ocean Health's esteemed Omega-3 range, reinforcing their stature as Singapore's leading Omega-3 brand. The key visual header, "Sustainable Vegan Omega-3," immediately highlights the product's main USP, catering directly to vegans and eco-conscious consumers. The sub-header, "Ocean-Friendly, Purely Sourced Micro-Algae," further emphasizes the product’s sustainable and natural origins.

 

We employed a natural colour palette dominated by blues and greens to accentuate the product's inherent natural qualities. This palette not only evokes a sense of calm and purity but also transports consumers into the serene and captivating world of marine flora.

 

The imagery features vibrant green algae beneath the sea, creating a vivid tableau that highlights the richness and purity of the product. This visual representation facilitates consumer recall, reminding them that the product is derived from natural, sustainable sources and is suitable for vegans.

 

Three key USPs—Vegan Omega-3 EPA & DHA, Ocean-friendly, sustainably sourced, zero impact on marine life, and MINI Soft gel—are depicted in oil blobs resembling omega-3 capsules. This clever representation reinforces the product's benefits in a visually engaging manner.

 

The product packshot is encapsulated in a bubble, symbolizing its "all-rounded" benefits. This subtle yet impactful element enhances the visual appeal and underscores the comprehensive nature of the supplement.

Lastly, we incorporated the entire Omega-3 range in the visual to underscore the introduction of the latest offering. This approach serves to enhance consumer awareness and ensures Ocean Health remains the trusted brand for Omega-3 supplements, tailored to meet diverse needs.

By highlighting the product’s unique attributes through captivating imagery and thoughtful design, we successfully created a visual narrative that not only meets but exceeds the client’s communication objectives.
